A BearCat is a purpose-built armored vehicle
designed primarily for law enforcement tactical
teams, though it is also used by military and security
forces. It is a smaller, more maneuverable alternative
to larger armored trucks. The BearCat is often
classified as an armored rescue vehicle (ARV)—its
main role is to safely transport officers into dangerous
situations and extract civilians under threat.
