¾ The Capital Improvement Plan has annual allocations for street paving, sidewalks, and
water and sewer line upgrades.
¾ The CROM Tank replacement and design
¾ The CR44 force main bypass is under construction
¾ Crossing flashing lights safety installation.
¾ Various heavy equipment and pickup truck replacements.
¾ Coolidge and the seven blocks road, sidewalks, stormwater, water and sewer main
upgrades
¾ Sorrento Pines West 12” waterline.
¾ Many water, wastewater, stormwater, and street projects are underway or completed,
including LS3 generator installation, Eastern Water Treatment Plant Well and High Service
Pump Reliability Upgrade Reclaim Lake Willy dock repair, and many more.
¾ The City utilities administration building construction is complete
7. Improve the maintenance and appearance of City properties and facilities.
¾ Recent City Hall improvements include a security wall and pressure washing. Additional City
Hall improvements are planned in FY 2025/26 including landscaping and additional office
space
¾ The Engineering Department has completed building a GIS database for the City’s cemetery
and a MUTCD street sign repair and replacement plan.
¾ Landscaping designs for the Greenwood Cemetery Project, to include updating and
beautifying the grounds, will be under construction in FY2025/26. Plans include a new
cremation tranquility garden and walking path, estate plots, and several new columbarium
niches.
¾ Corey Rolle Memorial Field Improvements Project, Phase One - two storage units to serve as
a refreshment stand and a press box are complete.
¾ The Clifford House Museum has been going through several updates and beautification efforts
were completed in FY 2024/25.
¾ Construction of Phase Two of the Clifford House Project includes a curving, paved walkway
through gardens of native and perennial plants with small identification signs naming each
variety of vegetation along the way is complete. The windmill has been repaired, and a water
feature will be added to increase the charm of this historical treasure.
